Robin Roewe

Vocal

Robin Roewe is excited to join the Creative Arts Conservatory as a vocal instructor. He has served on staff at numerous churches, including Shearer Hills Baptist, Mission City Church, Houston’s First Baptist, Denver Baptist (NC), Tallowood Baptist, and Kingsland Baptist (TX). He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from Baylor University, with additional opera studies in Europe and the U.S.


A Grand Prize Winner of the Gospel Music Association’s “Praise in the Rockies” talent search and a national finalist in the Eleanor McCollum Competition (Houston Grand Opera) and the Metropolitan Opera Young Artist Program, Robin has spent over 35 years as a music and worship pastor, soloist, and worship leader in the U.S. and internationally.


He previously taught music at Simpson College (IA) and Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University) before transitioning full-time into ministry. He continues to teach and mentor worship leaders, with many of his students receiving scholarships, assistantships, and careers in worship ministry, performance, and education.


A native of Iowa, Robin began music studies at age 7, played piano and organ at church by age 10, and joined his first band before high school. He has performed as a soloist with opera companies, symphonies, churches, and toured with the Continental Singers. His career includes studio work, songwriting, and sharing the stage with artists like Amy Grant, Avalon, and Point of Grace. He has performed on four continents, in 15 countries, and frequently speaks on worship and vocal health.


His teaching emphasizes a holistic approach, blending physiological understanding with artistic expression.
