Gracelyn Lay

Vocal | Ukulele | Piano

Gracelyn is a passionate young musician who brings energy, heart, and creativity to everything she does! A versatile vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, she has built an impressive foundation in music—studying piano, ukulele, acoustic guitar, voice, and music theory at CAC, and taking voice lessons since the age of 11. Her dedication has earned her recognition as a 7th chair placement in the TMEA Regional Choir, and she has taken the stage in lead roles for church productions, including Kids Praise at Oak Hills Church. Her love for the arts also extends to theater, with performances in productions like Clue, High School Musical 2, and Newsies.

When she’s not performing, you’ll find her leading worship with her church’s student ministry team or continuing to grow as a lifelong learner in music. As an instructor, Gracelyn is especially excited to inspire and encourage her students; she is passionate about pouring into her students the same way her instructors have poured into her—creating a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment where every student can shine!

Outside of music, Gracelyn has a big heart for service—she volunteers as a puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence. Her didication to community service has earned her both the Presidential Service Award and the Congressional Award.
