Luis Arizpe

Luis Arizpe is a Texas-based songwriter, performer, and music educator with over three decades of professional experience. He studied Music Theory and Composition at the University of North Texas, specializing in piano and percussion, and earning a minor in tenor vocals.

Throughout his career, Arizpe has crafted a diverse path as both a live and studio musician. He toured as a support guitarist for the Robin Lees Band and showcased his talents on bass guitar for numerous regional projects. As a sought-after studio musician, he has contributed to several recordings, while also releasing two official projects that highlight his songwriting and musicianship.

Currently, Arizpe captivates audiences as a singer-songwriter and with his jazz-blues trio, Luis Arizpe & The Truth. Alongside his performances, he is deeply committed to music education, serving for 20 years on the Fine Arts faculty at the Geneva School of Boerne, where he teaches Classical Guitar, and has spent over 23 years inspiring students as a private music instructor. Over 20 of his former students have gone on to pursue professional music careers in Nashville and Los Angeles, performing as touring musicians or recording artists in their own right.
